EMPLOYEE BONUSES
The purpose of these payments is to provide additional incentive for our employee instructors to be encouraging members to be returning regularly to their classes and trying to keep our classes as full as possible. The key to the success of the business is for members to have regular scheduled sessions that they attend.
We have received feedback from members that they appreciate a team member following up with them at the end of each class to confirm they will see them again the same time next week or at their next normal session. It shows interest and care for our members well being and goes a long way in helping our community remain loyal to our studio.
Members and clients must actually attend classes so late cancels and no shows will not be counted in the overall class attendance figures.

We want to continue to work together to ensure that all the new people are experiencing our studios in the best possible way to maximise their chances of signing up, and so we have introduced the Come + Try Bonus for our employee instructors.
Client “Facts”
All instructors are expected to send through a “fact” of information about a client who is attending on a Come + Try pass. This is expected for all three visits of the pass so the teams will receive 3 pieces of information about that new client and be able to personalise their in-studio experience which should in turn continue to grow the community feeling we are trying to achieve.
If all three instructors for a completed Come + Try pass have sent their client fact through to the employee messenger group within 24 hours of those classes, the studio managers will confirm and a $10 Come + Try Bonus will be paid to each of those 3 instructors.
Example 1 – John attends his first class with Jess who submits a client fact, his second class with Rach who submits a client fact and his final class with Jess again who submits a client fact. Jess will receive 2 $10 Come + Try Bonuses and Rach will receive 1 $10 Come + Try Bonus.
Example 2 – Jack attends his first class with Elise who submits a client fact, his second class with Pat who does not submit a client fact and his third class with Reema who submits a client fact. None of those instructors will receive any Come + Try bonuses as one of the client facts was not submitted.
Example Client Facts
- Elise is originally from Bendigo and lives in Sunbury with her two young boys and loves to exercise at night time.
- Lauren goes to all types of fitness classes but has wanted to try Reformer for ages and she goes to the snow to snowboard as often as she can.
- Pat is a plumber and hurt his back a few years ago and has been trying to improve his core strength so he can sit on the floor to play cards with his kids.
- Rach is a mum of three including a three month old baby so wants to exercise again and get out of the house. She has worked out consistently so is quite
confident in knowing her restrictions post baby number three and likes to be pushed by trainers.
MEMBERSHIP BONUSES
If a client who has completed a Come + Try pass signs up to any of our memberships within 7 days of completing their pass and the Come + Try Bonuses were applicable for that client based on the client facts, an additional Membership Bonus will be paid. Each of the instructors who was involved in the clients first three classes will receive an additional $20 Membership Bonus.
Example 1 – John signed up to a membership straight after finishing his Come + Try pass and since Jess and Rach received Come + Try Bonuses, Jess will now receive 2 $20 Membership Bonuses and Rach will receive 1 $20 Membership Bonus.
Example 2 – Jack signs up to a membership 4 days after he completed his Come + Try pass. Since Pat did not submit a client fact, Elise, Pat and Reema will also miss out on their $20 Membership Bonus Payments.
Our Studio Managers are contacting all Come + Try pass clients when the passes are complete to touch base and check how their experiences are and can hopefully assist with converting them into members. They will be sending these reports through to payroll by Wednesdays for any bonuses to be paid to eligible staff members.
CLIENT BASICS
Please note, basic normal duties such as a client photo, checking a pre health form is completed on their profile and injury updates added to the profile as normal. None of these bonuses will be applicable if these normal basics are not completed.

PAYROLL
Our pay cycle is weekly and runs from Wednesday to Tuesday, with pays processed on Thursdays. Your pay will be automatically deposited electronically into your nominated account.

STAFF COMMUNICATION
Each studio has their own staff messenger group to communicate, please ensure you check this for all updates.
Emails are sent regarding monthly class plans and other longer updates.
This portal also has a ‘Studio Updates + News’ section, which will provide information regarding promotions, challenges and other things happening in the studio, for you to refer to.
STAFF DISCOUNTS
All Pilates + Studio team members can attend classes as they wish at either studio and are encouraged to do so.
Staff also receive 20% off our non-sale Pilates + branded merchandise and socks.
STAFF TRAINING
Staff training will be organised for the studio team 2-3 times per year. These dates will be given well in advance to help ensure you can attend.
1:1 catch up sessions will be organised monthly with your studio manager or Rach + Jess to help and encourage you to become the most successful instructor you can be. These sessions will include goal setting, discussing training needs and reviewing individual KPI’s.
Team activities are organised on an ad hoc basis to give the chance for our team to get to know each other better and celebrate our success together.
STUDIO ACCESS
All team members are provided with a set of keys to the studio. Everyone is welcome to use the studio spaces when classes are not running. Family and friends are welcome to attend with team members and are not allowed in the studio without a team member present. Please ensure that you leave the studio as you found it, clean and tidy ready for the next classes to run.
Team members can rent the studio space when scheduled classes are not being ran for $15 per hour. You can conduct your own private sessions, either on a single or regular basis. Please contact us if you would like to organise this as we will add appointments into your Wellness Living access so any sessions can be booked in through the software and all employees will be able to see that an additional session is booked in. There are many times throughout the week that our additional studio spaces outside the reformer room are not being used so we encourage staff to book in their own clients and utilise the equipment and space.
UNIFORM
Team members are provided with two Pilates + t-shirts and one Pilates + Hoodie when they commence employment. It is expected that these are worn when teaching with any other active wear and appropriate footwear.
Further uniform orders can be made when a merchandise order is happening, and team members will be notified via the employee messenger groups when this is occurring. Additional hoodies are $31 and t-shirts are $17. This is cost price for us through our supplier and is subject to updated.
